How Does Teletherapy Work?

Teletherapy sessions are conducted in real-time, similar to traditional in-person therapy. You will need a reliable internet connection and a device (such as a computer, smartphone, or tablet) with a camera and microphone. Each client will receive a link for the video session. Sessions are held on a HIPPA-compliant platform for privacy and confidentiality purposes.

Do You Take Insurance?

Yes, at New Steps Care, we accept insurance. We are in-network with several insurance providers, including Oscar Health, United Healthcare, Oxford, Cigna, and Aetna. If you have insurance coverage with any of these providers, you may be eligible for mental health services with us. We are committed to making quality mental health care accessible and will work with your insurance company to handle claims and billing. What is the Cost of Therapy?

Our standard therapy sessions are priced at $150 per session. These sessions typically last 53 minutes and are designed to address your therapeutic needs.

Why is the initial session priced differently?

The initial session, which involves comprehensive information gathering and assessments, is slightly longer and requires additional time and resources. As a result, the cost for the initial session is $175.
