Your first full session is a structured clinical hour—not a sales conversation. After your free consult, you will complete intake forms and consent documents through our secure portal. At your first appointment, your clinician reviews your goals, history, and current stressors, then collaborates with you on a treatment plan that fits your pace and priorities.
You do not need to have everything figured out before you arrive. Many clients start with a clear crisis (panic, insomnia, burnout) and refine goals over the first few sessions. Telehealth works best from a private, quiet space with stable internet—we will walk you through setup if technology feels intimidating.
How Scheduling Works
Step 1 — Free consult: Book a 15-minute call to confirm clinician fit, state licensing, and general availability. Step 2 — Intake: Complete paperwork and policies online. Step 3 — First session: Attend your initial 50-minute clinical appointment via secure video. Step 4 — Ongoing care: Schedule recurring sessions at a cadence you and your clinician agree on—often weekly or biweekly to start.
You can manage appointments through our booking system. If you need to reschedule, use the portal or contact the front desk with as much notice as possible.
Insurance and Payment
We accept major insurance plans in Florida, Virginia, Maine, and Iowa—including Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Blue Cross Blue Shield variants, Oscar, Oxford, Optum, UMR, and others depending on state. Self-pay individual sessions are typically $150 for 50 minutes. Sliding-scale openings are limited and reviewed case by case. If you are out of network, ask whether a superbill for reimbursement is appropriate for your plan.
